The built-in splitter uses on-device AI to separate a song into as many as six parts. Mute the vocals for karaoke, solo the bass line to transcribe it, or drop the drums and play them yourself.

Music Speed Changer detects the key and tempo of each track and shows the result of your adjustments as you make them. Drop a 110 BPM song to 80% and you’ll see 88; take C minor down two semitones and it reads B♭ minor.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Does slowing a song down make it sound lower?
No. Music Speed Changer uses time stretching, so a song keeps its original pitch at any tempo. If you do want the classic record-player effect, where speed and pitch move together, link the two controls and use a single slider.
Is Music Speed Changer free?
Yes. It's free to download, and the core tools are free to use: tempo and pitch control, loops, markers, key and BPM detection, the equalizer and effects, the track splitter and saving new files.
Pro is an optional upgrade, available as a subscription or a one-time purchase. It removes ads and adds formant correction for natural-sounding vocals and the six-part track split with guitar.
Does it work on iPad and Mac?
Yes. The App Store version runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17.6 or later, and on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14.6 or later. The Android version runs on Android 7.1 or later.
Can it remove vocals from a song?
Yes. The track splitter separates a song into vocals and accompaniment, or into individual instruments, so you can turn the vocals off completely for karaoke or practice. Android also has a quick vocal-reducer effect that works without splitting the track first.
Which audio formats can it open and save?
It opens the common audio formats, including MP3, AAC/M4A, FLAC and WAV. On Android it can also play the audio track of video files.
On Android, saved files can be MP3, FLAC or WAV. On iPhone, iPad and Mac they can be AAC (M4A), lossless (M4A) or WAV. You can save the whole track or just the A–B loop.
Does it work with Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube?
Spotify and YouTube can't be used, because their songs are protected. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, songs you've bought from iTunes and other downloaded songs in your music library work with every feature, and Apple Music songs can be slowed down and looped. On both platforms you can also import your own audio files.
What do I need to use the track splitter?
The first time you use it, the app downloads the splitting model; after that it works offline. On Android it also needs a 64-bit device with at least 4 GB of RAM. Splitting a whole song takes a little while, and newer devices finish faster. The splitter works on your own audio files and downloaded songs, not on Apple Music streams.
Are my songs uploaded anywhere?
No. Speed and pitch changes, track splitting and saving all happen on your device, so your music never leaves it.
